Pilates classes focus on the body as a whole to help strengthen core, back, abdomen and pelvic floor muscles.
At Essence Pilates all ages and all fitness levels are welcome. Mat Pilates classes include the use of small apparatus – bands, rings, weights, foam rollers and mini balls to help challenge the body and the mind.
Each person is encouraged to work with their own bodies strengths while working as part of a group to stretch, strengthen and tone the whole body.
Pilates will help you strengthen your core muscles, pelvic floor muscles and tone your whole body, while at the same time stretching your body to help realign your body.
